Visitors can gaze at the mighty Zambezi as it flows, broad and placid, to the brink of the basalt lip 1700 metres wide before taking a head long plunge into the frosty chasm of the gorge below. This is the World's largest sheet of falling water, yet although its fame has spread far and wide, the natural surroundings have been left relatively unspoilt. Our Guides will impart their vast knowledge of flora and fauna with you as you walk along the Mighty Falls. The tour include the visit to the big tree. A 1500 year old Boabab tree, 25 metres tall and 16 metres circumference. Early pioneers made thier camps below the massive branches of the tree and this became their traditional meeting place.
